As principal consultant of Ecosystem Solutions, Gary McMahon was responsible for the development of the South West Catchments Council (SWCC) Inc.’s Regional Biodiversity Sub-Strategy.
As General Manager of SWCC I was extremely impressed with the execution of the consultancy contract we had with Ecosystem Solutions and the final product. With regards to the Sub-Strategy itself, it was based on sound logic and had a strong scientific grounding, consistent with current research and policy within the WA Biodiversity context. While grounded in strong robust theory, the Sub-Strategy was a practical tool that would assist SWCC to direct future biodiversity investment.
